Historia Numorum Online (HNO) is a new project that was officially launched just over three years ago (2015). It is the first regional type catalogue of its kind (online) for Greek coins. The first volume under construction aims to include all the pre-Roman coin types of Caria, a region of southwest Asia Minor. New coins and types are being added virtually every day onto the database, which naturally means that a lot of the material is still currently missing from our system.

HNO is a collaborative project and we very much look forward to any contribution in the form of coin files, help in encoding the material, remarks, basically anything you might feel could help the project; words of encouragement are also welcome! We would very much like to hear from users and have their feedback about the platform, which is still in its pilot version, and its content.
